| 2001, Nov | Nextgen,Inc. established with the capital of 24 million yen. |

| 2002, May | Provided Japan's first SIP(#1) server for major IP telephone carriers and started IP phone service through SIP. |
| 2002, Jun | Created publicly Japan's first SIP terminal specification. |
| 2002, Oct | Developed SS7 Redirection server(#2), as a solution to provide a toll-free dial (0120) portability and delivered it to telecommunication carriers. This solution enabled a cost reduction of capital investment. |
| 2002, Dec | Got a consulting contract for VoIP network with major telecommunication carriers. |
| 2003, May | Delivered a Media server(#3) with SIP to IP telephone carriers. |
| 2003, Jun | Developed, tested, and provided engineering of VoIP network, when delivered the large IP Centrex for Tokyo Gas. This project made a great contribution for awareness of IP centrex services to the market. |
| 2003, Oct | Delivered SIP border solution(#4) for major telecommunication carriers (NTT) and, enabled interconnection with other carrier's networks. |
| 2003, Oct | Started operation of SIP test bed(#5)and enhanced the relationship with venders for switches, button phones and IP pohnes. |
| 2004, Feb | Provided IP centrex for a major telephony carrier and the carrier started IP centrex service for enterprises. |
| 2004, Jun | Got an order of the application which can control information appliances by SIP from a major consumer electronics company. |
| 2004, Oct | Provided 3rd Party Call Control(#6) application for major telecommunication carriers. |
| 2004, Nov | Started the IP phone service with UNIADEX for the enterprises using FOMA dual terminal. (Mobile Centrex Service) NextGen provided SIP server, as a hub of this service, with our own software products. |
| 2005, May | Got a patent on 3rd Party Call Control application (#3699720) |
| 2005, Jun | NTT Communications started Click to Connect service with our 3rd Party Call Control application. It can dial with only clicking on browser of PC or mobile. |
| 2005, Oct | Tied up with VeriSign Japan Inc. and agreed to work together for future Communication Service Provider (CSP). |
| 2005, Oct | Got an order of SIP border solution to interconnect fixed telephone and mobile phone network of major telephony carriers. This order had a great influence to an interconnection between fixed telephone and mobile phone network. (Fixed Mobile Convergence : FMC)(#7) |
| 2005, Dec | Exported NextGen SIP server to a US major telephony carrier after highly evaluated NextGen's IP technology level and productivity in the US. |
| 2006, Mar | Introduced NextGen's SIP server as IP phone service for enterprises using mobile terminal with wireless LAN provided by a major telephony carrier (KDDI/AU). |

- 1.SIP
- an abbreviation of Session Initiation protocol. Standard specification of Next generation network.
- 2.SS7 Redirection server
- Nextgen product. Nextgen reduced the cost of the application on switches, which were originally highly expensive.
- 3.Media server
- a device to handle voice of telephone conference and announce in Next generation network.
- 4.SIP border solution
- a solution to connect different network and devices, removing differences in SIP.
- 5.SIP test head
- test environment to test remote interoperability to keep a service level of device venders and carriers.
- 6.3rd Party Call Control
- an application to increase the operability and productivity, controlling telephone communication with PC or PDA terminals.
- 7.FMC: Fixed Mobile Convergence
- a service to converge a fixed phone and a mobile phone, using a portable phone which can be used as a fixed phone inside and as a mobile outside. Because of this service, customer can use the same service for both a mobile and a fixed phone.
